Hi, this is the website for Nathan Nichols. I'm currently a fifth-year graduate student at Northwestern University, just north of Chicago. I'm in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department, in the Cognitive Systems division, as a member of the Intelligent Information Laboratory (InfoLab.) My advisor is Prof. Kristian Hammond, and I'm planning on graduating with my Ph.D. in June of 2010. My research interests are primarily in the areas of machine-generated content and frictionless information systems, but I end up being interested in most areas of computer science.

Outside of my work/research, I enjoy cooking, going to concerts, reading (mostly fiction), and playing games.
